Trayce Jackson-Davis Commits to Indiana

Early Friday afternoon, the Indiana faithful got exactly what they had been hoping for.  Trayce Jackson-Davis announced on Twitter that he had committed to Coach Archie Miller and Indiana University.  A decision that has long been expected, but got uneasy for some as time wore on. Never daunted, Indiana gets their guy.  Coach Archie Miller gets his top target of the 2019 recruiting class. Jackson-Davis joins Armaan Franklin as the two commits in Indiana’s 2019 recruiting class, and some expect there to be one more commitment.  It was also announced that Trayce Jackson-Davis also signed his National Letter of Intent to the Hoosiers. Some speculate that Indiana has known for a few days that Jackson-Davis was joining the program. With how quickly the social media team put out that infamous Fortnite video on Twitter, I think Jackson-Davis had let the program know a little earlier than some think.  Nonetheless, the Hoosiers get their man.

Many people are asking, who’s next?  If you ask me, all eyes turn north to Laporte, IN where Keion Brooks Jr. attends La Lumiere prep school.  It’s long been rumored that Brooks and Jackson-Davis could possibly team up in college. Now with TJD’s commitment to IU, that speculation will surely grow.  Jackson-Davis ranks 16th in 247sports player rankings in the 2019 class, and Indiana’s class jumps to 29th nationally now that Jackson-Davis has joined Armaan Franklin as an IU commit.  Fans can now take a deep breath as Indiana finally lands the recruit they’ve all wanted, and all eyes turn north.
